WhyDonate is inspired by the heroic impact 9-year-old Samuel Wallman had on the lives of 4 others. He passed away in February of 2022 due to a ruptured AVM and brain bleed. He ended up donating his heart to a 5-year-old girl, his lungs to a 9-year-old girl, his liver to a 4-year-old girl, and his kidneys to 56 and 47-year-old men. Sam's aunt, Taylor, says that the grieving process has been hard on her whole family, but knowing that his heart and lungs are living in another child truly helps them feel better.
